Federation Style

We all have different styles and tastes. One which is quite common in older bathroom is the Federation Style. These days its coming back into popularity and i quite like the trend. It all depends on your home as there’s no point putting a federation style bathroom if you live in a new suburb. Anything build 70’s below is perfect. Those feature brick homes go so well with a black and white bathroom. This home in Fremantle was well suited and goes with  each aspect of there home its important it all flows a looks like it belong its crucial any renovation.

Layout – This 1950’s Fremantle home was well suited for a federation style bathroom. It already has aspects of the older style bathroom but it wasn’t working it looked great but the room was falling apart. First we converted the older bricked bath to a claw foot bath as well as converting the taps and spout into all in one. We installed a jarrah wood vanity all sealed and a all in one shower tap system. The floor was tiled on a diagonal with a black and white checker pattern
